Jon Bach is Manager for Corporate Intellect for Quardev Laboratories (www.quardev.com) - an outsource (onshore) test lab in Seattle, Washington.
He's one of those people you see at a local restaurant in the hotel bar after a conference, his notebook open, talking to colleagues about testing
and engaging in problem-solving exercises with dice and playing cards.
A 12-year veteran of software projects, Jon has worked as a test contractor, full-time test manager, and consultant for companies such as Microsoft,
Rational, Washington Mutual, and Hewlett-Packard. He has written articles for Computer magazine and Better Software (formerly STQE Magazine).
Jon and his brother James invented "Session-Based Test Management" - a technique for managing (and measuring) exploratory testing. He is speaker
chairman for Washington Software Alliance's Quality Assurance SIG, content owner for the 4th Workshop on Heuristic and Exploratory Techniques, and
Vice President of Conferences and Training for the Association for Software Testing.

Questcon maximizes the
value of software, by assuring its development is done right. We've observed countless companies
succeed and fail in developing software. We know the common pitfalls- and the best ways to
overcome them. As a result, we've become experts in finding hidden inefficiencies in software
development processes, by employing a pre-emptive approach to finding defects. Since 1991,
Questcon has helped companies change the way they develop software by providing software
quality assurance services. Change that creates better results, faster production cycles, and lower
development and maintenance costs.
